Chiropractic

Chiropractic approach considers the body and mind as a whole. Its aim is to improve the adaptive capacity of the nervous system.

When your nervous system is saturated with information, it then finds itself in overadaptation, which very often causes pain or symptoms.

Chiropractic support therefore helps improve your quality of life, by helping you feel better physically but also mentally and emotionally.

Understanding Chiropractic

Nervous system

Camille Goya during a chiropractic session

Its role is to capture information around you, but also internally, in your body and your head (digestion, menstruation, emotions, etc.) in order to create an appropriate response.

Your nervous system is made up of your brain and spinal cord, as well as all the nerves found absolutely everywhere in your body.

Adaptation

It is the ability of your nervous system to produce an appropriate response after perceiving information.

Example: If you find yourself in a highly stressful situation, your body will automatically go into "survival mode," and this is logical. But it still needs to have clearly perceived the danger first.

Example 2: If, on the contrary, your nervous system perceives danger where there is none (due to chronic fatigue, for example), your body will also switch to survival mode, even though in this case it would not be necessary at all.

This is why it is essential that your nervous system captures and interprets information in the right way, in order to then act in a coherent manner in relation to the situation.

TIME

There is no process that does not require time.

If you are experiencing certain symptoms or pain, it is very likely that the dysfunctions and imbalances that are causing them have been present for much longer.

So in a healing process, it will be necessary to give your nervous system time to integrate the changes so that it lasts over time.

LISTEN

Listening to you is essential.

Most of our first visit together is devoted to listening to you: your needs, your goals, your issues and, above all, who you are.

Chiropractic support is a team effort based on trust and listening.

ADVICE

To support the work carried out together during our chiropractic sessions, you can receive advice, actions to implement in your daily life or exercises, if necessary.

Your involvement is more than essential.

Fluidity and freedom

Working together allows you to feel more free physically and mentally.

Chiropractic helps you regain mobility, reduce pain, feel calmer, more in shape, improve the quality of your sleep and digestion, and better manage your emotions.

Depending on your goals, chiropractic support will help you feel better in your daily life.

Why should you see a chiropractor?

Here are some examples of the feedbacks and results observed by patients followed in chiropractic:

- better stress management

- reduced anxiety

- reduction of pain: lumbar, sciatic, cervical, thoracic, shoulder, etc.

- better emotion management

- reduction of dizziness and/or headaches

- improved digestion

- improved posture

- better sleep

Chamonix Mont-Blanc

- deeper breathing

- reduction of pain related to the menstrual cycle

- improvement of sports recovery

- reduction of pregnancy pain

- improved concentration

- improvement of proprioception / perception of one's body in space

Most of the time, you book your first chiropractic session because you are experiencing pain.

As we work together, you often realize all the other benefits.

Your chiropractic journey

1st chiropractic visit

The first visit means first meeting and discovery. The priority is to get to know you, answer your questions, understand your issues and expectations, in order to see if chiropractic can help you.

This visit takes place in several stages:

HISTORY

It is a listening phase.

My goal is to understand the reasons for your visit: your problems, your needs, your expectations, your background, your lifestyle, to understand who you are.

EXPLANATIONS

Then I take time to explain to you in more detail what chiropractic is, but also the course of this first visit together, and the techniques that I can use with your agreement.

CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINATION

In a second step, we carry out a series of tests to assess whether the chiropractic approach can help you, and also to take stock of your body and nervous system.

During this examination, my goal will also be to gather as much information as possible to prepare your chiropractic report: postural examination, range of motion, neurological tests, etc.

NB: the observations from this examination will be reused during a reassessment visit in order to make an objective assessment of your progress.

CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT

Most often, it's your favorite part: on the table.

"Adjustment " is the term used to refer to the chiropractic act. The techniques I use are gentle, allowing me to adapt to all patients.

POST-ADJUSTMENT DEBRIEFING AND EXPLANATIONS

Then I collect your initial feedback, keeping in mind that we also need to give the body time to integrate the changes, and I explain to you what we have needed to work on to date.

If I feel it is necessary for you to implement exercises or if I have specific advice to give you, I will do so at that time.

QUESTIONS

It is essential that you leave the room having understood what we have done, so each of your questions is welcomed and then addressed so that everything is clear on your end.

PRICE FOR 1ST CHIROPRACTIC VISIT: €80

2nd visit: chiropractic report

During the second visit together, beyond the chiropractic adjustment, we produce a report.

This visit is very important and has several very specific goals:

- find out how you felt and how you reacted to the first visit;

- answer all your questions, especially if some have arisen between the first visit and the report;

- carry out a detailed assessment with explanations of the chiropractic examination carried out during the first visit;

- establish a coherent care plan based on your objectives, expectations, desires and availability.

CHIROPRACTIC REPORT PRICE: €60

Chiropractic follow-up visits

Subsequently, during follow-ups, we take the time to discuss at the start of each follow-up visit to find out about your condition, and if you have experienced any particular events since the last session (fall, emotional shock, etc.).

Then it's time for adjustment.

CHIROPRACTIC FOLLOW-UP PRICE: €60

Chiropractic Reassessment

Reassessment visits can take place in two cases:

- at the end of the care plan: to carry out an objective assessment of the progress made since the review visit

- when your last chiropractic visit was 6 months or more ago.

In both cases, we perform the entire chiropractic examination again (similar to the first visit), then the adjustment.

CHIROPRACTIC REASSESSMENT PRICE: €60
